Pursuant to the Broadband Interagency Coordination Act of 2020 (BICA), the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) seeks comment on the interagency agreement made between the FCC, the Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) that was signed on June 25, 2021 to coordinate the distribution of funds for broadband deployment. To inform its findings for its required report to Congress, the WCB is specifically seeking comment on the effectiveness of the agreement, the availability of data regarding deployment, and any modifications that might improve coordination.
Comments are due August 1, and reply comments are due August 16.
