On its own motion, the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau is granting a limited waiver to allow providers until July 15, 2021 to submit their May 2021 EBB Program reimbursement claims. Based on a series of waiver petitions asking for additional time to file reimbursements, WCB noted that both experienced Lifeline providers and EBB Program providers that are not Lifeline providers have had to gain familiarity with the EBB Program. The one-time grant is designed to provide additional time for providers to refine their processes and to submit accurate EBB Program claims.
