The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB or Bureau) has denied two petitions requesting waiver of the March 1, 2019 deadline to upload and certify geocoded location information with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).  Eligible telecommunications carriers (ETCs) are required to file their geocoded locations information data and related certifications through the High Cost Universal Broadband (HUBB) portal to continue to receive their high-cost support.  The Bureau has determined that neither the joint petition filed by ComSouth Corporation (ComSouth) and Bloomingdale Telephone Company (Bloomingdale) nor the petition filed by State Telephone Company (State) have demonstrated there is good cause to waive the Commission’s deadline for geocoded location reporting.
