The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireline Communications Bureau (WCB) has released a Public Notice announcing the proposed North American Numbering Plan (NANP) administration fund size estimate and contribution factor for the fiscal year October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023 (Fiscal Year 2023). The proposed funding requirement is $8,642,536, of which $7,167,225 would come from telecommunications carriers and interconnected VoIP providers in the United States. The proposed contribution factor is 0.0000853, which would be applied to 2022 end-user telecommunications revenues. If the FCC takes no further action on or before August 22, 2022, the proposed amounts will become effective for Fiscal Year 2023.
