The FCC has announced the opening of a third application filing window for the Emergency Connectivity Fund Program to award at least $1 billion in support. The ECF Program was created to distribute funding to eligible schools and libraries for the purchase of eligible equipment and services for use by students, school staff and library patrons at locations other than the school or library. The filing window will open on April 28, 2022 and close on May 13, 2022. Eligible schools and libraries may request funding for a maximum of 12 months for eligible services and equipment that will be received or delivered between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023.
