A series of Petitions for Reconsideration of the C-band Order have been released and published in the Federal Register, establishing comment cycle deadlines of June 26, 2020 for oppositions and July 6, 2020 for replies. These include petitions by Intelsat, Eutelsat, Charter, Raytheon, and the Aerospace Industries Association, among others. The FCC also denied another series of petitions requesting a stay of the C-band order pending judicial review at the DC Circuit. The FCC found the petitioners, which include small satellite operators that filed the appeal with the DC Circuit, failed to demonstrate (a) they would suffer irreparable harm, (b) a likelihood of success on the merits, and (c) that the public interest favors a stay.
