Siskiyou is a rural incumbent local exchange carrier in Western Siskiyou County in California. Siskiyou argued in its waiver petition that its service area’s extremely low population density, mountainous terrain, and susceptibility to fire damage have all contributed to the area’s high costs, which necessitate the requested relief. Comments on the Petition are due January 6, 2025, and reply comments are due January 21, 2025.
