FCC Administrative Law Judge Jane Hinckley Halprin has found that Mongoose Works, Ltd. (Mongoose), is entitled to an additional $69,686 in compensation stemming from the FCC’s initiative to transition existing services out of the lower portion of the 3.7-4.2 GHz band (C-band) into the upper portion of the band. The Commission established a mechanism by which Mongoose submitted a lump sum reimbursement claim of $356,052 for transitioning eight antennas. Mongoose had appealed a Wireless Telecommunications Bureau decision upholding the C-Band Relocation Payment Clearinghouse’s reduction of Mongoose’s lump sum claim amount to $286,366.
