The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has issued a Public Notice announcing that Qwest Corporation and CenturyTel of Wyoming, Inc. (collectively Lumen) have withdrawn from the RDOF program in all census block groups covered by their winning bids in New Mexico, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Now these census block groups are eligible for other federal and state funding programs. Lumen also notified the FCC that it will not fulfill its commitment to offer voice and broadband service to certain census block groups in RDOF supported areas in Colorado. Lumen’s defaults will be referred to the Enforcement Bureau.
