The FCC has announced the opening of its $200 million COVID-19 Telehealth Program application portal as of Monday, April 13, 2020 at noon Eastern Time.  The FCC will grant awards on a rolling basis to reimburse healthcare providers for telecommunications, broadband and information service costs in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The FCC has provided a guidance public notice and a webinar detailing the program’s various eligibility and application requirements. Though funding for this program derives from the CARES Act pandemic relief bill, providers still must meet various FCC and USAC requirements to qualify.
