The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has selected USTelecom’s Industry Traceback Group to continue its service as the registered consortium for private-led traceback efforts, pursuant to the TRACED Act. The TRACED Act required the Commission to both issue the rules and open registration for a private-led consortium to trace back the origin of suspected unlawful robocalls. USTelecom’s Industry Traceback Group has served in this role since July 2020 and has asserted its desire to continue its traceback efforts.
