The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has issued a Public Notice seeking public comment on the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc.’s (NECA) proposed modification of the average schedule formulas. NECA proposes to revise the formulas for average schedule interstate settlement disbursements in connection with the provision of interstate access services. NECA further purposes to make these revisions effective for the one-year period beginning on July 1, 2024. Comments on these revisions are due by February 8, 2024 and reply comments are due by February 23, 2024.
