The FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force, in coordination with other FCC Bureaus, has issued a Public Notice seeking comment on its Broadband Data Collection challenge process. The FCC is required to submit a report to Congress that evaluates the BDC challenge process and whether the FCC should make any changes to help identify potential inaccuracies in the BDC data. Thus, the FCC seeks comment on whether, and if so what, changes should be made to the challenge process to improve the quality and accuracy of the broadband availability data. This includes an evaluation of both the fixed availability challenge process and the mobile availability challenge process.
