The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) has announced that, effective immediately, in light of the developments of COVID-19, it will no longer allow visitors into its facilities, absent special permission. This measure will remain in effect indefinitely. The Commission hopes this measure can help mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 within the community. Furthermore, employees have been advised to work remotely unless it is absolutely necessary to work from the office. The FCC stated that it will closely monitor further developments and implement additional precautions, if necessary.
