FCC Releases NOI on Customer Service Practices

The FCC has adopted a Notice of Inquiry aimed at ensuring that consumers have access to the customer service resources they need to interact with their service provider in a manner that enables them to efficiently resolve issues, avoid unnecessary charges, and make informed choices regarding the services they obtain from such providers.  The FCC is seeking comment on initiatives that could help address routine customer service problems and make it easier for customers to change service providers if they are frustrated.  Comments are due November 22 and reply comments are due December 9
