FCC, NTIA, USDA, and Treasury Sign Agreement to Coordinate Broadband Information Sharing

In a continuing effort to coordinate high-speed information sharing and internet spending, the FCC, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), and the U.S. Department of the Treasury (collectively, the covered agencies) have signed an interagency agreement to formalize information sharing on broadband deployment initiatives.  The covered agencies will share data and metrics collected by programs administered by the FCC, the Rural Utilities of the USDA, NTIA, the Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund, and the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.  The agreement was effective on May 11, 2022, the date of its signing.
