The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has issued a Public Notice providing guidance to carriers transitioning to Enhanced A-CAM support on January 1, 2024. Of note, A-CAM I and A-CAM II carriers transitioning to Enhanced A-CAM support must still comply with their 2023 performance testing requirements and must certify testing results by July 1, 2024. Similarly, CAF BLS carriers must comply with their 2023 CAF BLS requirements. Furthermore, the FCC is sunsetting mixed support condition for 22 companies listed in the Public Notice’s Appendix that will be receiving Enhanced A-CAM support.
