The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau, in conjunction with the Rural Broadband Auctions Task Force and the Office of Economics and Analytics, has issued the eleventh Public Notice authorizing Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (Auction 904) support for winning bids. This authorization covers nearly $64 million in high-cost Universal Service Fund (USF) support to enable broadband to over 126,000 locations, most of which (nearly $62 million for nearly 123,000 locations) is associated with the deployment of at least 100 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream by Mercury Broadband in Indiana and Kansas. The Public Notice also includes authorizations for FiberLight in Virginia and MEI Telecom Services in Michigan.
