The FCC has partially granted a Petition for Waiver filed by a group of Emergency Connectivity Fund Program stakeholders, including the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition, to extend the service delivery date for ECF applicants to June 30, 2023. The service delivery date is the deadline for equipment, other non-recurring services, and recurring services funding requests to be submitted. The Commission has concluded that there is good cause to waive and extend the current service delivery date deadline, June 30, 2022, due to the concurrent timing of the first and second window funding request deadlines and other factors, such as supply chain delays and the COVID-19 pandemic, that have limited the ability of applicants to use their committed funding by the current service delivery date.
