In preparation for its second Call Blocking Report, the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (Bureau) is seeking comment on the availability and effectiveness of call-blocking tools, as well as feedback on any impact prior FCC action has had on call blocking. The Bureau also seeks to know the impact of call blocking on public safety, and especially on 911 services.
The Bureau published its first Call Blocking Report last summer, and for its second report, with updated information, comments are due April 30, 2021.
