The FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and Office of Engineering and Technology have approved Nokia Innovations LLC’s Spectrum Access System for initial commercial deployments. The WTB and OET determined that Nokia’s lab test report satisfied the FCC’s requirements. The WTB and OET, in coordination with NTIA and DoD, are responsible for assessing and testing each SAS prior to final certification in both lab and real-world environments.
