FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has announced the establishment of the Spectrum Steering Team (Team), which will lead the Commission’s efforts to develop and implement spectrum policies. The Team will also coordinate the implementation of the FCC’s National Spectrum Strategy and will seek input from key stakeholders on how the Commission can best support such efforts.
The Team will bring together policy experts, economists, and engineers from the Office of Economics and Analytics, Office of Engineering and Technology (OET), Space Bureau, and Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB). The Team will be co-led by Susan Mort, Deputy Chief of the WTB, and Ira Keltz, Deputy Chief of the OET. Krista Witanowski, legal advisor in OET, will serve as Chief of Staff.
