The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has announced two Rural Digital Opportunity Fund post-authorization defaults. Specifically, Cuba City Telephone Exchange and Cal-Ore Communications, Inc, wholly-owned subsidiaries of LICT Corporation, notified the Commission of their decisions to withdraw from the RDOF support program. The notifications constitute a default on RDOF obligations. The Universal Service Administrative Company is directed to recover RDOF support from these entities pursuant to the FCC’s rules and the entities will remain subject to all ETC obligations and the FCC’s recordkeeping rules for high-cost programs until otherwise notified.
