The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has announced the fund size estimate and contribution factor for fiscal year 2024 for the North American Numbering Plan. Each year, the NANP Billing and Collection Agent submits its estimated fund size and contribution factor for recovering costs of NANP administration, which is collected directly from U.S. carriers. This year, the B&C Agent proposed a funding requirement of approximately $8.7 million for FY 2024 and a contribution factor of 0.0001047. This fund size estimate and contribution factor will become effective after 14 days if the FCC takes no action regarding the estimates.
