The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB), Rural Broadband Auctions Task Force (RBATF), and Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) (together, Bureaus) have issued a Public Notice authorizing Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (Auction 904) support for 469 winning bids in that auction.
The Bureaus reviewed those bidders’ auction long-form information, including letters of credit and Bankruptcy Code opinion letters from each long-form applicant’s legal counsel, and have accordingly authorized support for those bids. The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) will now disburse Universal Service Fund funding to those applicants in 120 monthly payments, beginning in October 2021.
