The FCC has adopted an Order that approves the formulas for average-schedule interstate settlement disbursements in connection with the provision of interstate access services proposed by National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc. (NECA). NECA proposed the modifications in December 2023, which largely uses the same methods from last year; however, this year NECA has proposed to include three consumer broadband-only loop (CBOL) factors, instead of one. The FCC sought comment on the proposed revisions, and no comments were filed.
The Order implements the average-schedule formulas, beginning July 2, 2024 though June 30, 2025.
