The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireline Competition Bureau has announced in a Public Notice that FCC Form 481 filings are due by July 29, 2022. All eligible telecommunications carriers (ETCs) receiving high-cost and/or Lifeline support from the federal Universal Service Fund (USF) must complete and certify Form 481 annually using the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC)’s One Portal. Ordinarily, Form 481 filings would have been due by July 1, 2022 but the deadline was waived pending Paperwork Reduction Approval for changes to the form, which has now been received.
