The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau (Bureau) has ordered voice service providers to block and cease accepting traffic from international gateway provider One Eye LLC (One Eye). In February, One Eye received a formal notice instructing it to stop carrying robocall traffic that it was facilitating. The Commission has concluded that One Eye consistently failed to comply with the FCC’s call blocking rules for gateway providers and failed to respond to the Bureau’s Notification of Suspected Illegal Traffic and Initial Determination Order. With this first-ever RoboBlocking Order, any provider immediately downstream from One Eye must block and cease accepting traffic from One Eye beginning no later than June 26, 2023.
