D.C. Circuit Upholds FCC’s Decision to Revoke China Telecom’s Authority to Provide Communications Service in U.S.

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the FCC’s decision to revoke and terminate China Telecom’s authority to provide communications service in the U.S.  FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel issued a statement in response to the court’s decision signaling her satisfaction with the court’s ruling and noting that the FCC had followed the recommendation of national security agencies in its revocation of authority action against China Telecom.
