On March 30, 2015, the FCC released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) proposing “targeted improvements” to the FCC’s Part 4 network outage reporting rules. Deadlines for filing comments in response to the NPRM have now been set. Comments are due on or before July 16, 2015, and reply comments are due on or before July 31, 2015.
