The FCC Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has released for comment a preliminary cost category schedule (Cost Catalog) for the C-band transition. The Cost Catalog identifies preliminary categories and expense estimates that may be incurred by satellite C-band incumbents as part of the C-band clearance and transition so that the lower 280 megahertz can be auctioned in Auction 107 planned for later this year. Commenters are encouraged to identify any other categories and estimated costs that they believe should be eligible for reimbursement by new licensees. Comments on the preliminary Cost Catalog are due by May 12, 2020.
