The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has launched a new portal for organizations to voluntarily report cyber incidents. The new portal’s functionality allows users to save and update reports, share submitted reports for the purposes of third-party reporting, and search and filter reports. The portal also enables users to engage in informal discussions with CISA. Additionally, CISA has released guidance to help organizations report cyber incidents. The guidance provides information to entities on who should report an incident, why and when such entities should report an incident, what to report, and how to report an incident.
