The FCC has announced the most recent batch of Connect America Fund Phase II (CAF-II) winning bids ready to be authorized with one applicant defaulting after it notified the FCC of its intent not to pursue its winning bids. For the 1,122 winning bids covered in this latest public notice, applicants have until 6:00 pm Eastern Time on Monday, August 5, 2019 to submit acceptable irrevocable standby letter(s) of credit and Bankruptcy Code opinion letter(s) from legal counsel for each state where they have winning bids that are ready to be authorized.
