The FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force has published a new map that displays U.S. 4G LTE mobile broadband coverage and availability as of May 15, 2021. The map provides the public with more information on mobile service coverage as the Commission works to implement its Broadband Data Collection program.
The map displays broadband and voice on separate layers for each of the country’s four largest mobile carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, UScellular, and Verizon. The coverage data included in the map was submitted by these four providers in an effort to provide the public with improved mobile broadband availability data. The FCC will use the data from this map to aid in the development and testing of the Broadband Data Collection systems.
