The FCC has adjusted its Schedule of Application Fees for processing applications and other filings.  Pursuant to Section 8(b)(1) of the Communications Act, in every even-numbered year, the Commission must adjust the schedule of its application fees to reflect increases or decreases in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rounded to the nearest $5 increment.  The FCC has changed the application fees to reflect a change in the CPI of 17.41 percent, an increase of 46.494 index points calculated from 267.054 to 313.548.  The Commission has specified new application and other filing fees for: (1) wireless telecommunications services; (2) equipment approval and experimental radio services; (3) media services; (4) wireline competition services; (5) enforcement services; and (6) international services.
