The Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) has released a Public Notice detailing the specifications for the database that service providers will use to identify inbound calls and text messages to domestic violence hotlines. Additionally, WCB has designated August 20, 2025 as the compliance deadline for service providers to identify and protect the privacy of calls and text messages to domestic violence hotlines.
