The Senate has passed the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act by an 85 to 14 vote. The legislation was also passed by the House last week. Of note, the annual appropriations bill includes $3.08 billion in funding for the FCC’s Secure and Trusted Networks Reimbursement Program. The NDAA will authorize the FCC to conduct a reauction of AWS-3 spectrum to offset the $3.08 billion in funding. The legislation will now go to President Biden’s desk for signature.
