The Federal Communications Commission’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau has issued a Public Notice seeking comment on a White Paper submitted by the Accessibility Advocacy Organizations regarding the transition of analog Telecommunications Relay Services to Internet Protocol (IP)-based services. In summary, the White Paper calls for the Commission to evaluate rule changes that contemplate replacement TRS solutions for analog services as some analog solutions have become obsolete. Comments on this White Paper are due January 17, 2025 and reply comments are due February 18, 2025.
