The FCC has established the pleading cycle for its proceeding in which T-Mobile and UScellular have sought consent for T-Mobile to acquire substantially all of UScellular’s wireless operations in a $4.4 billion deal.  T-Mobile would acquire about 30 percent of UScellular’s spectrum and all of its wireless customers and stores.  T-Mobile also is entering into a long-term arrangement to lease space on more than 2,000 towers from UScellular.

Petitions to deny the proposed transaction are due by December 9, 2024.  Oppositions to petition are due by January 8, 2025, and replies to oppositions are due January 28, 2025.
