The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau and Wireline Competition Bureau have announced the launch of the Rapid Broadband Assessment Team (RBAT), an inter-agency rapid response team that will provide coordinated review and assessment of pole attachment disputes that impede or delay broadband deployment. The RBAT will provide guidance and advice to parties on the means of resolving their dispute. The RBAT may also decide if a complaint is suitable for placement on the FCC’s Accelerated Docket.
