The Federal Communications Commission’s Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau (Bureau) has terminated more than 300 dormant proceedings dating as far back as 1991. The list of terminated proceedings can be found here. The Bureau indicated its belief that termination of these proceedings furthers the Commission’s organizational goals of increasing the efficiency of its decisionmaking, modernizing the agency’s processes in the digital age, and enhancing the openness and transparency of Commission proceedings for practitioners and the public. In response to comments in the record, the Bureau left open several proceedings included in the Sixth Dormant Proceedings Termination Public Notice.
