The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has released the final version of the Alternative Connect America Cost Model (A-CAM), announcing both A-CAM offers and a deadline of November 1, 2016 for eligible rate-of-return carriers to elect model-based support. The Bureau’s announcement references four reports detailing the A-CAM offers, which are available at https://transition.fcc.gov/wcb/ACAM_23_Offer_Rprt_7_0.xlsx. Carriers that fail to submit a final election letter by the November 1 deadline will be deemed to have declined model-based support.
